 Spamming, phishing. Most of us are not conversant with these terms. But if you visit the internet very often they should concern you as they threaten your privacy and security online. 

What is spamming?

 Spams are unsolicited emails sent in bulk through email. The senders are called spammers and they are able to collect personal information about their receivers when they click on links contained in the email. Spams could come in form of ads or popupads with statements like"your computer is at risk" or "you are running out of space". Hundreds of these are lurking around in most forums and pornographic sites.

 This is just one way that hackers use collect information. There are many other ways but it is best you get acquainted the precautionary methods.
